Food Intolerance Testing

What does a food intolerance test involve?
The equipment used is a Vega machine and the testing method is one of several used within the field of bio-electronic regulatory medicine (B.E.R). The test is non-invasive and painless. You hold a cylinder in one hand while a small sensor is placed on the surface of the skin on either the fingers or toes. Using ultra fine measurements and ampoules readings are taken and the results are instant.
How long does the test take?
For a full food test (100 items), vitamin, mineral and candida test plus consultation: 90 minutes (actual test approximately 30-45 minutes).
How do I use the results provided by the test?
When your test is complete you will be given nutritional information and guidance to support you in following your own elimination programme. With some people an elimination and re-introduction program may relieve their symptoms. With others it may be that intolerances are an indicator of an underlying problem in which case further help may be required to address the symptoms.

Do I need to bring anything along to the appointment?
On the day of your test please do not apply any creams, lotions or perfume to hands or feet. If possible jewellery needs to be safely removed. If you are taking prescribed medication or supplements please inform me prior to your test and bring these to your appointment. You will be asked to complete a health questionnaire so please arrive 10 minutes early to complete this.
